Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Lymphatic Enhancement Technology (LET)

Lymphatic Drainage is a type of gentle massage technique that focuses on stimulating the lymphatic system to help your body eliminate waste and toxins. Manual Lymphatic drainage is hands on with a lighter touch than traditional massage. Lymphatic Enhancement Technology (LET) is done with a machine that targets more deep lymphatic congestion and may offer faster results. Bonnie is trained and certified in Manual Lymphatic as well as Lymphatic Enhancement Technology using Lymphstar Products by Arcturus Star.

What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)?

Unlike Traditional Massage, lymphatic drainage massage uses light pressure to mobilize the lymphatic system which lies directly beneath the skin.

MLD follows a specific sequence starting with the main drains in the body including the lymph nodes in the neck, groin, and armpits. The session usually starts with a very light massage to those specific areas.

What does Manual Lymphatic Drainage do?

Helps move lymph fluid through your body. It uses gentle, rythmic hand movements to redirect excess fluid away from swollen areas towards your functioning lymph nodes where it can be processed and eliminated. This helps to reduce swelling (lymphademia), improve circulation, potentially relieves pain, reduces swelling, improves circulation and may reduce stress.

What is Lymphatic Enhancement Technology (LET)?

While Manual Lymphatic Drainage is done with my hands to help move fluid through your body, Lymphatic Enhancement Technology works much the same way. LET uses small instruments to apply mild Electrostatic Energy Field (EEF) with low frequencies that are dynamically pulsed with our proprietary method. Safe and gentle for most users.

EEF is an electrostatic energy field that pulsates as microamperes (millions of an ampere) with acoustic pressure waves at less than 1,000 Hz. The EEF field is generated through medical grade glass applicators with noble gases enclosed (Argon, xenon, etc.)

The EEF works with the sympathetic contractile forces of lymphatic circulation as shown in a scientific study performed by Thomas E Croley, PhD. Emeritus professor, Anatomy, Texas Women’s University.

Who can benefit from LET?

People may be helped with lymphedema including those recovering from surgery and individuals with medical conditions such as Fibromyalgia or Rheumatoid Arthritis. This is not for everyone such as if you have an active infection, blood clots or deep vein thrombosis.

Lymphatic Enhancement Technology (LET) has been used for:

  • Pain Conditions
  • Inflammation
  • Swelling such as post-op lymphedema
  • Breast Conditions
  • Post-Cancer Rehab
  • Surgical Recovery (all types)
  • Esthetics: Post-Procedures, Skin Rejuvination
  • Stess Relief/Parasymphatic Inducing
  • Digestion: Gut/Colon Health
  • Sinus with Allergy Relief
  • Balances Hormones

What Lymphatic Enhancement Technology (LET) is NOT:

LET devices effectively use subtle energy technologies including EEF, sonic and acoustic waves and harmonics.

  • LET is not ultrasound.
  • It is not a standard electro-modality like neuro-muscular or electro-muscle stimulation.
  • LET is not “electro-lymphatic drainage or ELT.”
  • LET is not a Rife Machine or a PEMF Machine.
  • ‘Lymphatic Therapy’ refers to multiple types of treatments around the world.
